Description

An integrated, peer-reviewed, and specialized curriculum designed to train individuals in understanding and applying the Qur’an according to the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah (the mainstream Sunni tradition).

Curriculum Components:

The Qur’an has been divided into 604 study units, each corresponding to one page of the Qur’anic text based on the King Fahd Complex Madinah Mushaf edition.
Each unit consists of four main sections:

Contemplative Reflections (Tadabbur Points):
Seven reflection points are provided for each unit, focusing on the purposes of the verses — such as faith-related, educational, and spiritual objectives.
These points were extracted from sixteen classical and authoritative tafsir (exegesis) books recognized by Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama‘ah.
The reflections are quoted verbatim from the original scholars, except when a clear typographical, linguistic, or grammatical error was found; in such cases, the correction was made and placed in square brackets [ ].
Each reflection is followed by a reference indicating the name of the scholar, the volume, and the page number, based on the official edition used in the project.

A total of 4,228 reflection points were selected from an archive of around 15,000 entries collected for this project.
Each verse or portion of a verse includes no more than three reflection points, and no more than three reflections are cited from any single scholar per page.

To strengthen the trainee’s ability to ponder the Qur’an, each reflection is followed by a question designed to guide the learner toward understanding, which can be answered using the reflection itself without referring to external sources.

Vocabulary Table:
This section provides meanings of uncommon or difficult words found on the page, taken from “Al-Siraj fi Gharib al-Qur’an” by Shaykh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Khudairi.

Applying the Verses:
To train the reader to act upon the Qur’an, three practical applications are suggested for each page. Each suggested action is derived directly from specific verses, with the verse text cited alongside the action.

Guidance Points:
Three general guidance points — educational, doctrinal, legal, or otherwise — are drawn from the verses of the page. Each point is accompanied by the text of the verse from which it was derived.
